Safety
- Never leave the battery connected to the charger for extended periods — overcharging can cause damage or safety hazards.
- Protect from temperature extremes; lithium performs best at moderate temperatures.
- Avoid puncturing, crushing or dropping the pack — physical damage can cause leaks or fires.
- Always use the charger provided by the manufacturer. Third-party chargers are the most common cause of battery damage.

Charging
- Monitor charging and disconnect once full to prevent overcharging.
- Charge indoors in a dry, well-ventilated area.
- Never charge with a wet port, and keep the charger away from rain or moisture.

Storage & maintenance
- Storing long-term? Leave the pack at around 50% charge, in a cool, dry place.
- Check the battery periodically during extended storage.
- Inspect and clean the terminals regularly with a soft, dry cloth to prevent corrosion.

Extending life
- Avoid complete discharge cycles — top up whenever convenient.
- Use regenerative braking where available; it converts kinetic energy back into charge.
- Keep the pack between 20–80% for day-to-day use.
